Saitek X52 Pro Programming

Hi,

I am trying to program my new Saitek X52 Pro for FSX-Steam. Also, I would like to use the "profile" setup with the SST programming software.

If I program the joystick buttons in FSX settings, all commands work fine. If I try certain key commands in the SST, the will NOT work. For example: BRAKES

Programmed in FSX    -Brakes APPLY-  = Key "B" as well as Key "." and both keystrokes are repeated.

                                   - Park Brake SET- = "CTRL" + "B" as well as "CTRL" + "." and these keystrokes are not repeated.

How can I program these events to a profile with the Saitek SST software? Also does anyone know of a more detailed description/examples of how to use the SST software. The manual does not go into great details.
