Sorry for late reply - yes I use FSUIPC. To "fix" this issue I start MSFS2020 firs and than the EFB2 server. I don't get the error this way

So I just completed a flight and this problem did NOT occur again. I didn't do anything, but started the flight as usual. Maybe fixed itself?????? Usually not the case. I will monitor. Thanks for help

Has anyone seen this issue: I usually start the Aivlasoft EFB2 Server first and than start MSFS2020. When the sim arrives at the airport/aircraft selection< I get a warning: The currently selected database does not match the running simulator type! So I click on YES to start the DataBaseBuilder, build a new database which it completes successful and everything works properly again. A little bit annoying, since it takes awhile to rebuild the database. I know the support for the EFB2 has stopped, however maybe someone had the same problem and could reply. Thanks for reply Ray. Even so I have a Navigraph subscription, I use the EFB for all my flights and prefer it to Naphigraph. The Problem: The Navigraph FMS Data Manager updates the following file: C:Users/myname/Documents/Aivlasoft/EFB2/Server It looks like there is something missing. Thanks for help

I have used this program since 10 years and will miss it. However, particular the verical approach situation. I now can't build a updated database for the current AIRAC 2407. The database remains at 1802/R1 even so the Navigraph FMS Data Manager has Aivlasoft EFB 2.0 at AIRAC 2407. Anyone any idea? At least I could use it to the end of the year Thanks for reply

Hi, I have a strange problem/issue with the selection menu in FSX-SE; I have a AeroSim and AFS B787. When I select the aircraft publisher "AeroSim" several "AFS" aircraft show up in the selection window. Anyone know what line (I assume the aircraft.cfg file) is responsible for placing the aircraft into the proper publisher display? By the way if I select publisher "AFS", these aircraft do NOT show up in the list! Thanks for help

Correction on the "write procedures" box. It works! :smile: I probably forgot to activate the STAR and therefore it did not show up in the .pln file. Thanks

Hi, Anyone using Flightsim Commander 9.6 or FS Build 2 with the standard non programmable FMC aircraft from FSX? Can you incorporate SID and STAR procedures in these 2 programs and than download a .pln file to the FSX flight planner? I guess FSNavigator is no longer in existence? Thanks

Hi, I have been flying the PMDG aircraft with functional FMC (SID-Enroute_STAR). I also have Aivlasoft EFB for route generation, which lets me generate flight plans in PMDG .rte or FSX .pln format. Now I read that FSX does not accept SID's or STAR's in the route plans. I tried to save a file generated in EFB and saved as a .pln file with SID and STAR, but once I loaded the route in the aircraft, the SID and STAR were gone. Is it possible to modify a FSX .pln file to add the SID and STAR manually, so it can be uploaded into the aircraft. Or is there another way to enter the SID and STAR into a non-programmable FMC? I am trying to fly the AFS design A330 A340 series. Thanks for help

Hi, I just installed TrackIR software with FSX-SE. I notice that everytime I want to pause the simulator, by pressing "P", a little window pops up telling me a "Microsoft Flight Simulator Screenshot has been saved". The hot key for TrackIR is "F12". Anybody know how to: a) disable the screenshot feature in the flightsimulator? b) which folder do the screenshots saved in? Thanks for help Juergen Mader

Hi Michael, The pictures are from one and the same approach -no switching of approaches or manual frequency change. The ILS frequency in the PFD changed by itself. Strange and a mystery! Right now I am flying from EDDF to KMIA, same A/C, LH Cargo, so we will see if any anomalities occur.

Hi All, I loaded the approach again this morning. When it first loaded the aircraft went uncontrollable into a steep climb to 21000' -no idea why-. However, I was more interested in the ILS frequency selection of the FMC and PFD display. If you look at the screenshots the frequency changed from IFWR with DME to 109.75 w/o DME and back. Mistery!!!! https://www.flickr.com/photos/141330124@N05/shares/0MJR82 I could not get the speed and altitude under control after the uncontrollable climb, so I flew the missed approach. But what's with the frequency changes???? Also I thought EDDF has no DME. Does the DME come from the recently downloaded "Mark_Aldridge" EDDF scenery? It's driving me nuts, since I don't have logical explanation. Thanks
