PC Aviator announces new High Altitude series of MegaSceneryEarth optimized for high altitude flight.
The first title Arizona is being offered for free

SOUTH CAROLINA, 2 JUNE 2017. MegaSceneryEarth publisher, PC Aviator, today announced and released the first title in its new MegaSceneryEarth High Altitude series optimized for flight simulator pilots who like to spend most of their flight time in the upper altitudes.

While the high resolution VFR series is at 1.19 meters per pixel, the high altitude series is resampled down to 4.75 meters per pixel which is optimal for altitudes at around 10,000 ft or above. The flight simulator pilot gets the sample high quality visual scenery at this altitude as the higher resolution scenery while enjoying storage overhead 1/16th the size of the higher resolution VFR scenery. At altitudes below 10,000 the land scenery is a little blurred due to the downsampling but still very high quality for realistic landings and departures.

MegaSceneryEarth is compatible with all flight simulators based upon the Microsoft FSX/ESP platform which includes Flight Simulator X, FSX: STEAM EDITION, Prepar3D V1, 2, 3, & 4 and DTG Flight Sim World. The current installer will automatically install into FSX, STEAM and P3D 1, 2 & 3 while installing to Prepar3D V4 is done manually via the simple to use Add to Scenery Library feature within the simulator. A full automatic installer for the latter two simulators will be available by 9 June.

The first title in the High Altitude Series of MegaScenery is Arizona and is available as of 2 June 2017 at the MegaSceneryEarth website at http://www.megasceneryearth.com/store. It offers 114,000 square miles of high quality true to life scenery for the entire state of Arizona, as stated above, optimized for high altitude flight and is created from the latest available high resolution aerial photography from 2015. The imagery is further enhanced inhouse using proprietary techniques that bring out even the most hidden detail in the original photography. Arizona and all future titles are very affordable at only .95 per state for the most of the US states with the larger ones being slightly more and the smaller ones priced lower.

The great news for flight simulator pilots around the world is that the first title, Arizona is FREE with the purchase of any other area at the MegaSceneryEarth website for the entire month of June.

If users of the high altitude series wish to at any point upgrade to the corresponding high resolution area for that state, the purchase of their High Altitude area will be credited to their purchase of the high resolution state. A pretty good deal by any standard.

Titles are available by instant download with the option to order DVD copies for flight simulator pilots who prefer physical media.

New entire states will be released regularly and will be announced through the company's website and newsletter mailing list.

Readers can find out more about the High Altitude series of MegaSceneryEarth at the company's website at http://www.megasceneryearth.com/store
