June 9, 20178 yr Hi. I have my opus v5 set to update weather every 8 minutes. When the weather does update though, it changes back to vc view. How do I stop this? Live camer os off. June 9, 20178 yr Commercial Member If you have an unknown or Observer type view on display then it must be changed as there is a problem in P3D which corrupts Weather injection at places surrounding any active Observer location. So until this anomaly is fixed by LM any Observer type view must be changed to allow correct Weather injection. Stephen
June 9, 20178 yr Author I'm not flying with an unknown or Observer type view. If I'm flying with a spot view it changes back to virtual cockpit to change the weather. It's very inconvenient. How come other weather programs don't have this problem? i9 7920X @ 4.7 | MSi x299 Gaming Pro Carbon | Gigabyte Aorus 1080Ti | 32GB DDR4 GSkill 3000mhz | 1 TB Samsung 960 EVO | 3TB Toshiba 7200rpm.
June 9, 20178 yr Author OPUS 4 on my friends PC doesn't behave like this. i9 7920X @ 4.7 | MSi x299 Gaming Pro Carbon | Gigabyte Aorus 1080Ti | 32GB DDR4 GSkill 3000mhz | 1 TB Samsung 960 EVO | 3TB Toshiba 7200rpm.
June 10, 20178 yr Commercial Member That's right as v4 does not take this error into account nor support Observer Views. Weather updates with Observer Views on display will not update the weather correctly Local to the observer position. The P3D anomaly still exists but is only catered for in v5. Stephen
June 12, 20178 yr Commercial Member The next OpusFSI v5 Beta will only change view modes if you have selected an Observer View through OpusFSI. Stephen
