Chaseplane crash in new Tower Controller view (P3Dv4)

Hi guys - I just discovered the new Tower Controller position in P3Dv4 that can be chosen in the airport menu (pretty neat!).  It appears every time I try to start in this location ChasePlane crashes. I get a box saying 'Chaseplane has stopped working' and it just shuts down.  I have tried to restart it while in this same location and it shuts right back down.  I assume it is because there is not an aircraft involved?  It isn't a huge deal but it would be neat to utilize Chaseplane as without it there appears to be no way to look around or change your viewing direction.
