Microphone for FSX

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

My intention is to use a microphone with FSX.

But not to use Multiplayer !!  Just my voice hearable in the speakers that I use.

Together with all the other FSX sounds. The ATC panel must work on.

What do I all need for that ?  Have I to download a support program ?

And do I need a USB mic. or a 3.5 jackplugs microphone ? What is the best for it?

Also to use a Microphone and not a headset !

  I hope somebody will help me with these questions.

From Edward.

Check this out.  You can talk to someone....not just to yourself!

This is another program where you actually use a microphone to talk to a computerized ATC and have them respond.  Sort of like clicking on the pilot voice response using default ATC.

Thanks Charlie,

But I work only offline with FSX.

VATSIM is too much studying for me.

I just want to integrate my voice within FSX.

And it is not my intention to communicate with the ATC. (voxatc)

What are the settings to set up a mic. for FSX with my simple intention ?

Anyway thanks for your suggestions.

Edward.

Interesting....you just want to hear yourself talk with no interaction with FSX?  Just talk out loud. Most of us do anyway!

And thats the website I looking for !

The problem is voice feedback into the mic.

But I use a directional mic. The problem is reduced.

You understand me now.  And keep on smiling on me !

You helped me a lot further now.   My problem is solved.

Thanks for your attention.

 Edward.
