Data Ref Editor

Recommended Posts

I have read in a post that i can turn down the haziness using Data Ref Editor. The post stated that I could change this value for haze reduction by altering the following value from 1.5000000 to 0.3000000 :

Fog/std_deviation_cutoff=0.3000000

Later in the same post it refers to using the Tab key to save the value. (I am aware it will reset)

I don't seem to be able to save the new value using the Tab key were others can.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

You should be using the new dataref "fog/fog_be_gone" now. To make the value stick even after quitting X–Plane, you will need to employ a little Lua script. That has been described here often, and I am typing on a tablet, so that is all I can help with for the moment.
