July 22, 20178 yr It´s fantastic work! And it´s important to read the whole project page. I love her. Regards Nils
July 22, 20178 yr Author I've only taken a quick look and brief flight so far, but it's a good model. It's not a study-level sim because the author wanted to avoid plugins, so you don't get the engine management in the LES DC-3. The LES is a bit more visually detailed in some areas too, but nothing earth-shattering (unless you insist on rivets). On the other hand, this is half the price of the LES DC-3 and a very good value if you don't need the extra features. There is room in XP for both a medium-level and higher-level DC-3 sim, and now we have something much better than the original Heinz DC-3 as a baseline version. There are some things that need adjusting in the flight model, like a too-high gross weight (I think?) and a high engine idle. This is a work-in-progress so I'm sure that will be addressed.
