July 25, 20178 yr I am having this issue where ATC does not understand the copilot. Case 1: ATC transfer to new freq and copilot reads back, then ATC repeats the frequency back because didn't catch what the copilot said. And the copilot gets lost. Copilot changes the frequency but never report to the new frequency. Case 2: Copilot responds and ATC ask to repeat because "you were garbled". But copilot never repeats and it gets lost. July 27, 20178 yr Author Weird, today I flew same route and there was no problem. ATC and the copilot understood each other 100% of the time. July 27, 20178 yr I've had this happen a couple of times with the 2219r3 update. Seems as though the timing gets off and they end up talking over each other
July 27, 20178 yr Author That's what I initially thought, the copilot seemed to start readback before ATC finished talking. Now I remember before the good flight I added some new window voices and sped up (+2 ) some of them. The faster speech might have prevented the overlaping. I will change speed back to zero and try same flight.
