July 28, 20178 yr I am new to LINDA. I followed a video on how to install LINDA and SPAD. Everything is checked as ok but my flight yoke stopped responding after I installed LINDA. I also have fsuipc (registered). My keyboard also lost the fsx shortcuts for the hot keys used in fsx. I have version 1.13. My radio panel seems to work but my saitek joystick no longer functions. I also tried to assign button presses but they do not show up. Please help. I have win10, 64bit.
July 28, 20178 yr Hi Ace Welcome to LINDA. I will see how I can help you get your system working again. First of all, LINDA 1.13 is an old outdated version and I recommend you download and install the latest version 3.0.1. This is compatible with FSX, P3Dv3 and P3Dv4. Secondly, SPAD and LINDA are mutually incompatible. You need to run one or the other. I suggest you disable SPAD and use LINDA with your Saitek Flight Yoke as I do. The mode switch require a special setup which will get once you have LINDA working for you. LINDA will have no impact on your FSX hot keys. All key assignments are set up in FSX. If your key assignments are not showing up, you need to ensure LINDA is installed correctly in the /modules folder of your FSX directory. For me to help you here, I need to ask you to follow the diagnosis thread above and email me the fsuipc4.log and linda2.log files (from /modules) and the config-hid.lua file from /modules/linda-cfg/aircrafts/{your aircraft name}/). You should use a Default FSX aircraft to get things working. Also make sure LINDA is FSX Sync-ed with an orange outline of the Aircraft name.
