FPS Drop In Long Hauls

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have started my first flight on V4 and I am currently in a flight from VHHH - EGLL.

When I left VHHH i was on a solid 50fps on the ground and 80-90 in the cruise. However 9 hours later and my frames wont go above 25.

Any ideas?

You still have the chance to run out of VAS, then your system begins to use the swap file which will bring your system performance down.

With low RAM (under 8GB) and during a long haul i can imagine you ran slowly into this problem.

Or your system gets to hot and the CPU/GPU is throttling down.

Do you have navigraph simlink installed? It was causing fps problems for some users during latter part of long hauls.
