i have been having very smooth sailing and i went to uninstall bev textures because i want to get the new Ground Environment 2006 and now my flight sim experience is something like this:smooth for 3 seconds then stutters for 3 seconds, then repeative tried different settings, planes, locations, nothing, still the samecould it be something else? should i reinstall something? ???thanksciao!Brian S

First thing I would try would be a defrag. I don't know how the BEV install works, but likely it may have backed up your original textures by moving them to a backup folder. Uninstalling likely moved them back. Pretty good chance your HD is fragmented now and having more challenge loading the original set of textures.-John

ohh thats a good idea, i just deleted the fs9.cfg file and let it rebuild that again, i haven't checked that out yet, but yeah, never hurts to defrag anywhociao!Brian S
