Preset assigned keys not working

Hello all, 

Since the last update I have been experiencing a strange issue. With chaseplane minimized and not touched, I am able to use my assigned keyboard shortcuts to switch from one preset to the other. When I go to my taskbar and click on the chaseplane symbol, I immediately loose control of my shortcut keys. I can press what I want but nothing helps. Only restarting the chaseplane program seems to work (as long as I keep it minimized.) Is this a known bug and will there be a fix for it or there a way to remedy this problem?

Some additional info:

It seems that if the program is running on top of P3Dv4, I only get to press one more shortcutkey after which my keys are cut out. Additionally, I cannot use my middle mouse button to pan around. It is as if the program is not functioning at all when this happens.

It can be countered by putting another program (like vpilot) on top of chaseplane by clicking its icon in the taskbar. Doing that restores my shortcut keys. This seems very weird to me and I don't think this should be happening. Perhaps it could be one of the settings that I have off but I can't find out what that might be.

I have exactly the same problem. Thinking of a complete reinstall of Chaseplane
