Since ENVTEX has this, I would also love to see this with REX4 as well. I prefer the textures much better and hope HiFi/REX will somehow come together to make this happen.

Personally, I'll be surprised if REX decides to expend any effort on this as it will compete with the weather engine they are developing.

They've also promised to provide custom textures for the already detailed airports within FSX, but so far have only done this for Salt Lake City within the past 8 months.
