Setting Views

Recommended Posts

I have a CH throttle quadrant that I use for landing gear and parking brake controls (levers).  The switches on it I use (FSX & P3d along with EZDOK) to set my internal views. ex, Overhead, Autopilot Panel, FMS, etc. I would like to use this same setup for XP11 but can't figure out how to do it since EZDOK isn't an option.  When I go to edit the views I am confused on the procedure.  There is a list of 10 view locations and also 10 memorize view locations which I don't know how to set.  Also not sure if these are the selections I need or not.  Just need some guidance on how to set my desired views using the switches on the CH throttle.  I know how to set views using Ctrl - Num pad numbers but would rather use my CH.  Oh, I use Saitek TQs for throttle controls.  Thanks for any help.

Assign "View: 3-D cockpit location # " (command sim/view/quick_look_X) to the desired button, with X being the number of the numpad key you used for memorizing the view.

The description is actually X+1, so "View: 3-D cockpit location # 1" refers to sim/view/quick_look_0,  "View: 3-D cockpit location # 2" refers to sim/view/quick_look_1 and so on

Hi Matthias,

Thanks for the guidance.  Works pretty well - just what I was looking for.
