I've found a new favorite cruise setting 24"MP and 2300 rpm 50° LOP 13.4 which gives me 182kts True that is at 6000 I've not tried it at 8,000 yet

Thanks for that. What MP do you use for the descent? I have just been trying to keep the CHT in the green. I'm not sure if that's the right way to do it or not. Anyway I'm enjoying it!

In descent I use 21/23 I set my vs at 1000 ft/per minute descent rate
