cabin pressure at high level cruise

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I see that the cabin pressure knob allows maximun setting at 10100 ft

as a matter fact, when I do high altitude flights, in the glass diplays that setting flashes red continuously

please, did I miss something to adjust, or is this a limit of the Carenado model?

thanks

thanks!

now I understand that it has to be calculated and that I have to learn what means "PSI Differential" to calculate that value ....

PSI differential is just the difference between the lower pressure on the outside of the plane compared to the higher pressure inside the plane when at attitude, measured in pounds per square inch (PSI). The cabin needs to be pressurized so air is forced into the cabin which lowers the attitude in the cabin. The PSI would normally be indicated in the POH for a particular aircraft.

Cheers

Martin
