p3d 3.2 yoke pad with no checklist writings
in part you're right, and I've seen this suggestion given a lot of times to users, everywhere: I've searched the forums, before asking.... yet you have to comprehend that - BTW I've studied every manual with hightlights, save the too "professional" sections - a lot of us have in life little time to refresh every time memories of hundreds of pages studied through the years (because there is not only PMDG setup and fixes to remember, concerning FSX/P3D....), moreover, there's also life, and if you can tell me where may I buy an additional emisphere and RAM for my brain ...... experiencing the newly p3d32 with several minor issues with addons, I initially thought about a similar situation btw again, thanks to the time I've spared

p3d 3.2 yoke pad with no checklist writings
Hello, I've just purchased yesterday the 737 base package, flawless installation on my first flight, I'm noticing that, either pilor or copilot, have their yoke checklists pad with no writings, conversely to what I have in FSX/FSXSE please, what am I missing? thanks Marco Gabbrielli

newbie: flight reloaded, no matching panel state
I didn't figured it out myself, I've found it searching this forum (I have FSUIPC registered, too, yet after checking into FSUIPC options I did not find anything bringing here ... )

dark cockpit with a corrupted? panel state by default and altered FMC display
Hi, although related in its origin to this thread (http://forum.avsim.n...ng-panel-state/), this looks like a different bigger problem: trying to solve the issue posted in that thread, I reloaded another savegame with the 737 on the ground and set as starting panel state the one matching the flight I was willing to retrieve when reloaded, the flight with issues didn't change in its problem, yet, worst of all, !!! now when I start every 737 flight, I find a dark 737 (with that - corrupted?- panel state) and an altered FMC display (attached jpg) please, ho can I get out of this? thanks Marco Gabbrielli

newbie: flight reloaded, no matching panel state
...trying to be more specific I set another flight, on the ground, turned on the FMC and selected as startup panel state the one saved by FSUIPC matching the flight I mentioned, yet, upon reloading that flight ... still C&D ... does FSUIPC save the panel state correctly?

newbie: flight reloaded, no matching panel state
hello, I'm on my second flight and I've just made so far the first studying pass on introduction and tutorial manuals I've set to C&D the default panel state in FMC after reloading the second flight, I retrieved a cold and dark brick falling from the sky ^_^ : I was not used to it, as with 747 the savegame panel state is correctly reloaded please, what did I miss? (I've positively checked that, in 737's panelstate folder, FSUIPC - I suppose - has correctly saved the panel state matching the fsx save) thanks Marco Gabbrielli

textures disappearing (onwship, cockpit, AI airliners, FollowMe car)
yet http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html is telling me that I have (14) optimal value set nonetheless, it's no effort to try your suggestion too

textures disappearing (onwship, cockpit, AI airliners, FollowMe car)
Hello, I'm returning to FSX after a while and I've rediscovered an annoying issue that appears frequently when flying airliners and locating in very detailed airports: - textures start missing, sometimes in AI airliners, sometimes in my external airframe views, sometimes in virtual cockpit, sometimes in detailed airports buildings; - sometimes it happens quite soon (before taxiing), sometimes after landing I have an enough powerful system, so my specs should not be an issue, although my gfx settings are "high" (scenery is almost to max, save for autogen=dense) I fly with directX9 I'm sorry if I missed it: I did not find any resourceful explanation searching this forum thanks for any suggestion

wheels / landing gear partially into the ground
(win7-64)Hi,under this new win7 setup I've started (flawlessly so far) reinstalling all my FSX addons (FEX, GEX, REX, UTX, MTX, FTX with main airports)in all airports (FTX's and not), lots of airliners have the wheels of the landing gear (sometimes also the nosewheel behaves the same way), just a little under the surface, meanwhile that does not seem to happen with ownshipbeing a huge installation process, in the past I've written down all tricks that were necessary to fix issues, but this one is a first timer, that's why I'm asking for directions, not knowing where to start the search to solve this onethanks

FSX : O&O defrag zones employment
hariseldon replied to hariseldon's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcI'm sorry I've missed to be more specific: I have FSX on a separate drive, yet my question arises because there are thousands of files being moved everytime there is a change made with REX, ASA; FEX, GEX, UTX, and so onthence I wonder whether there could be an advantage by having a "consolidated" section of FSX in zone 1 (assigning FSX folder to it), meanwhile the files that are always "on the move" being relocated to access priority zone 2 (assigning all libraries folders to zone 2)....I'm sorry again, I'm not an expert, I'm trying to figure out whether O&O options could give a better FSX performance, ot to simply forget about zonesjahman,I'd really like to understand what you wrote can you point me in the direction of a better understanding? thanks

FSX : O&O defrag zones employment
Hi, although at Simforum's I've read the thread concerning the optimization of FSX installation, I have an observation to do:wouldn't O&O defrag zones be useful, considering the huge number of libraries and textures files?wouldn't FSX be better performing (with faster defragging), by relocating the thousands of libraries files into ACCESS priority zone(2), and leaving only the application files into zone 1?thanks
