March 12, 200620 yr For its day, it was excellent. It has been super-ceded by Ultimate Terrain done by the same developer, which not only has all the roads of USA Roads, but adds detailed and accurate coastlines, rivers, streams, railroads, parks and neat night lighting.UT runs very well for me, and is configurable so you can turn off residential roads, for instance, if you want more autogen or are trying to get more performance.UT is a must have product for me. Flight1 has a 30-day money back guarantee, so you don't have anything to loose.http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utusaTony

March 13, 200620 yr Author I would not fly without UT/USA, and I run on a 1.83GHz Pentium M, 1 GB, 64 MB ATI X300 laptop at 1920x1200. I can say that I don't use AI as I find this causes pretty consistent stuttering for me. But without AI, performance is great, and this is with all my sliders to the right.I also suggest the freeware (available here) or payware FSGenesis 38m mesh and FSGenesis US Landclass to round things off. Some people complain that the residential roads conflict too much with the "built-in" roads in the textures. I agree to a point, but having the residential roads is important to me. Good thing is UT allows you to configure major/minor roads the way you like it.Also, UT adds extended lighting that many people like at night. Problem is, the lights are made with objects, which end up interfering with your autogen during the day. I happen to fly just about all the time during the day, so I turn the extended lighting off and this brings back most of the autogen. Turning off the residential roads will bring back even more, but I find the interference of the residential roads is fairly negligible.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_StartJava.html] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-) Tom Perry
