September 23, 20178 yr These days I tested different settings on my actual system (i7-4790K, GTX 1080TI) and I played with the monitor refresh rate, from 60Hz to 30hz and back, to get P3D v4 as smooth as possible. I also ran user benchmark and then I got the message " Performing below potential (1st percentile) - Disable monitor sync before benchmarking (60 fps cap detected)". No idea why but then searching with Google I found out that I need to reset the settings in nVidia Inspector. After I did that, smoothness and good fps were back. Each time when I change the refresh rate, something gets wrong... I removed nVidia Inspector but after playing with refresh rates, fps dropped, again sync issues, so I had to run the Inspector again and reset the settings. Then smoothness also is back. This is quite odd... any ideas why? Valentin Rusu AMD Ryzen 9950X3D OC, Asus RTX 5090 OC, DDR5 64GB @6000MHz, Samsung 9100 NVMe for MSFS2024
