September 30, 20178 yr Thank you so much for this app. It works very well in XP 11 and FSX without any major issues. Is it possible for future releases to expand the map view to a full-screen layout when undocked? Currently, I have to drag and expand the edges to fit the map full screen on my second monitor.
September 30, 20178 yr Yes, the program does not remember the undocked map size if the window is in docked state. You can move the undocked map window so that the close button of the main window is still visible. Then it will remember the map size on restart. Not a nice solution, but sufficient. I already have several requests for a semi full screen mode and will add this in the future. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 2, 20178 yr I undocked map window and moved it to another monitor and now when I stared Little Navmap I cant toggle map window. Please advice how to toggle map again. Mark
October 2, 20178 yr Hi Mark, main menu -> Window -> Reset Window Layout. This should bring the map window back into the docked position. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 16, 20205 yr How do I undock the map so I can have it as a separate floating window I can move anywhere on my screen? TIA

You have to enable this in the options on page "Map". Click "Allow to undock map window" and restart. You probably have to reset the window layout after restarting. I disabled this per default because it makes arranging the dock windows very fiddly. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

Alex Thanks, I did find it myself after looking into the options and got it doing more-or-less what I wanted. But ideally, the default "pink blobs on green" so-called "map" should be using Bing maps at the very least!!! I can't for the life of me understand why Microshaft didn't adopt the own technology - it's a joke.
