September 30, 20178 yr I am seeing something odd. I just purchased P3d4 and the installation went fine. Occasionally, I use Geek Uninstaller to go through old programs that I don't want or need in order to create HD space. As I was scrolling through the various programs, I noticed that Prepare3D v4 Academic is listed a 32 bit application. Is there such an animal? Geek uninstaller does highlight 64 bit applications, so to note that P3d4 is 32 bit got me worried and confused. You can see for yourself. Geek uninstaller is a very good free uninstaller. How does one know that p3d4 is truly 64 bit. I'd like to hear from the more knowledgeable. tony
September 30, 20178 yr Hi Tony, P3Dv4 is a 64-bit application. You can verify this in Windows Task Manager: in the Processes tab a 32-bit application is marked with 32-bit, a 64-bit application is not marked. P3D has to be running of course when you check the Task Manager. Maarten Maarten Boelens ([m][a:][R][t][ʏ][n]) Developer of SimLauncherX
