Improve texture loading & frame rate

I recently purchased UT Europe and there is an interesting and helpful article called 'performance tuning' covering frame rate and the 'blurries" The author makes many excellent suggestions on how to improve fps and sharper textures. One of the recommendations is to use a 3rd party defrag program called O&O defrag and defrag using names. I have since used this program with great sucess in addition I also use O&O clevercache. I can report on my system that both of these program improve the load time of textures. There are many factors effecting frame rate and texture blurries but I must say that I found the 'performance tuning' recommendations have the best effect.Regards,AndrewP4 3.0MHZ ATI800XT 530/1040 2G DDR 553.
