PMDG 747-400

Featured Replies

Hope someone can help . I use a Saitek X52 control in FS . It works fine on all aircraft exept the PMDG 747 . When i apply full throttle for take-off the aircraft turns right . All four engines are running . I cant seem to correct this problem .

Check that the rudder trim knob is centered...I think by default its one of the knobs on the throttle (if I'm thinking about the right stick).

Many thanks for your reply Micheal .

hello all,i´m just wondering if one of you is using the saitek software for the x52. I´m asking because i have a lot of troubles with this stick regardless if using the stick with saitek drivers and software or just with plain microsoft drivers. The problem is that the throttle even when set full back is never down to 0 percent in every aircraft. When the throttle is in his full back position the throttle levers in all aircrafts show 6 percent throttle applied. Also the Windows calibration interface shows that the throttle isn´t fully back. Same happens to the large knob on the throttle.Might it be possible that this has something to do how many usb devices are connected to the computer?Any help on this?ThxRon

I don't have the X52 but may be able to offer some tips. When you calibrate your throttle and you reach the point to bring it back, don't bring it back quite all the way and set your calibration there, that should allow it to go to 0 in the sim. Another suggestion is to use a registered version of FSUIPC for calibration. You can even set a reverse thrust zone for your throttle that way.Bud
