Keeping 2d panels while changing views in vc

Featured Replies

Greetings,

I have been using chase plane in P3d v 3 and have been very happy. In P3d v 3 I was able to open a 2d panel and then switch view and the panel would stay open.

I just switched to P3d v 4 and I am now not able to do that. So if I open say the MCD in 2d and then switch to the overhead panel the 2d panel will close. Maybe I changed something when I changed to P3d v 4 but I thought all my settings were the same so maybe someone could help and point me in the right direction to fix what ever I did to mess this up.

Thank you for your help.

I’m using P3D v4.1 with ChasePlane. I routinely run a main monitor with ChasePlane views, and two other monitors with undocked Virtual cockpit (VC) views. I’ve never had them close. The only thing that does happen from time to time, is if I happen to select something in one of the VC monitors and then attempt to change the view in the ChasePlane Monitor, the VC Monitor displays a view of the aircraft with parts missing. I fix it by right clicking on the VC Monitor and select Virtual Cockpit view again.
