Alabeo C404 Titan: Anybody take a chance on it yet?
Just thought I'd comment that I've been flying the Alabeo C404 Titan for quite a while now and I think it is one of my favorite aircraft. A study sim, it is not. But it does fly well, works very well with the GTN 750, and I find that all autopilot and related navigation functions work just great. It is not without complaints. Engine oil temps rarely climb into the green arc (no cowl flaps) and in my present sim (P3Dv3), CG always appears out of limits toward the aircraft nose. It is a good fit for my VAL (BVARTCC Cape Air). I'd be happy to answer anyone's questions.

Estonia Migration Tool used for Flight1 King Air 200
I've read through what's available here on the Estonia Migration Tool. So far, I've had fairly good success with it it regards to installing add-on aircraft I had from FSX boxed into P3Dv3. The tool specifically states that it works for the Flight1 King Air 200 (on the sales website) but I've had problems getting it to work. Since it appears that their Support Forum has been down for some time, I hoping one of you may have successfully solved this issue. As far as I can tell, the tool installs the Flight1 King Air 200 into P3Dv3 successfully (i.e. no errors are shown). When I run P3Dv3 and load the aircraft, all appears to go well. However, the aircraft is not visible from the interior. The Virtual Cockpit elements are totally gone with the exception of the airstair handrails. I can see the external scenery fine. When I use EZDok to move the views around, the movement appears appropriate but the aircraft isn't visible. If I go to an external view, all is well. I can see and move around the aircraft fine. If I globally disable EZDok and use P3Dv3 view menus for the cockpit, nothing shows up either. I've compared the FSX (which does work, by the way) vs P3D installations and they are identical, no missing files. I even went so far as to replace the King Air 200 folder under SimObjects/Aircraft with the FSX version but nothing changed. Have any of you used this tool to successfully migrate the Flight1 King Air 200 from FSX to P3Dv3, and if so, what steps did you take to make it successful?

FSX Shared Cockpit Problem
My friend and I have been enjoying good times in “shared cockpit” mode using FSX Boxed edition, Teamspeak, and the Alabeo C404 Titan. One day he would Host the session, the next time I would. He was using Windows 10, I’m using Windows 7. Recently, he did a complete re-load of Windows 10 software and FSX boxed additions (plus add-ons). Since then, whenever he tries to Host a session, I cannot connect to him. If I Host, he can connect to me as normal. We’ve tried to troubleshoot this. The right router ports are open, we’ve looked at firewall settings, but we must have missed something. I haven’t changed anything in my setup so we’re thinking it’s something that happened on his end. We are hoping someone else out there who uses “shared cockpit” might have run across this issue and could help us out.

C404 Titan Engine 1 Not Starting Up in C&D.
I've had no problem starting the enginessential individually from cold and dark. Sounds like that engines mags are off or the mixture isn't advanced.

C404 Magneto Check
Whenever I do a magneto check on on the Alabeo C404, I get no RPM drop at all (from 1500 RPM). Have any of you experienced this? I've submitted a support ticket about a month ago and the response was, "we are looking into it".

Alabeo C404 Titan: Anybody take a chance on it yet?
I've sent Jim Robinson a message on this but I thought I'd ask the group. I read Jim's post where he added a rather clever bit of code to the Alaebo C404 panel.cfg file to replace the contents of one window with the default Bendix King autopilot and DME. Bravo! Finally, we have the ability to capture an altitude and hold it. I just took a flight with the C404 in the area around Bradley Airport near Windsor Locks, CT. The DME functioned as it should. The Autopilot did fine with heading mode and tracked a GPS course with no problem. The ALT function functioned great. The only problem I had was when I tried the RNAV(GPS) RNY 33 approach into KBDL. I'm using the Flight1 GTN 750 for navigation with the NAV Source Selector on GPS. With the approach loaded and activated, I used the NAV autopilot function to track direct HADUX. When I was inbound direct HADUX, I changed to APR on the autopilot. The glide slop indicators appeared on each side of the HSI with full deflection to the top. As they dropped down, I hoped the autopilot would capture the GS, but the C404 remained level. I noticed that the NAV Source Selector had an ARM on the GPS switch so I tried that but no effect. I used the VSI to defend and complete the approach. I haven't tried an ILS yet so I don't know if will track that GS or not. Have any of you had any success with vertical guidance? Thanks in advance. Lantz Great! I'm off to find it!

Alabeo C404 Titan: Anybody take a chance on it yet?
I'm working on learning to use this airplane for a Cape Air virtual airline. Thanks much for all of the tips and observations I've read in the last 10 pages. I'm looking forward to trying the autopilot/DME mod window. I was wondering if anyone has come across a Cape Air repaint for this aircraft?

C404 Titan Autopilot Manual
In case anyone has questions about the autopilot in the C404 Titan, I found this link to a PFD on the KFC 200 system: https://www.bendixking.com/HWL/media/Pilot-Guides/006-08262-0000_0.pdf

Saitek Multipanel and the Carenado PC12
Apologies if this has been covered in the past, but have any of you tried to use the Saitek Multipanel with the Carenado PC12? I've replaced the Saitek software with SPAD and have had great success with using the different Saitek panels with add on aircraft such as A2A's C172. I also use the purchased version of FSUIPC. It pretty much works all the buttons and switches using FSUIPC Offset Change settings. The Carenado PC12, not so much. I've tried some assignments using FSUIPC Virtual Buttons in SPAD, but haven't found a combination that works.

Alert Sounds
I did download mine directly from Carenado. They did offer a service pack at some time previously and the the link is available for me to download but it also has a note that it is unnecessary if I downloaded the aircraft after a certain date (Oct 2, 2014), which I did. I assume that means I have the most up to date version that Carenado offers. I then updated the aircraft with the 1.8 version patch I found on the forum.

Alert Sounds
I have the 1.8 mod for the PC12 installed. Other than that, I'm running FSX with all the service packs

Alert Sounds
I'm running the PC12 in the FSX-boxed version. If we are talking about the pusher and fire alert "test" buttons in the overhead panel, I get sounds and animations from both buttons.

Does anyone out there have an answer to this question for me?

Question about Service Pack 20141002
I first downloaded the Carenado PC 12 for FSX in Nov 2015. I then upgraded to Autogyro's version 1.8. Today I discovered on my account page at Carenado's website that there was a Service Pack (20141002) that I never installed. Should I still do this? Should I then go through the reinstall procedure for version 1.8?

What is the deal with the FDE?
I've installed the plane recently along with the version 1.8 update and I haven't noticed any problems. Check out the post "PC12 Overhaul Mod V1.0 and N594WA Repaint Released" and the latest version is the top sticky. The other point I've found is that the aircraft will climb excessively after departure unless elevator trim is set to the green mark on the trim gauge. It sounds like you've flown this aircraft more than I have. Hopefully others here will chime in.

How to change rudder, aileron, and elevator trim
I'm just trying to understand if there any any physical controls for trim accessible in the Carenado PC12 virtual cockpit. It sounds like there isn't. Perhaps the trim controls in the real aircraft are only accessible via the electrical thumb switches on the yoke. I usually set up my Saitek trim wheel to match the amount of rotation I see on a similar control in the virtual cockpit. That's why I'm trying to determine what works trim in the Carenado PC12.

How to change rudder, aileron, and elevator trim
Thanks Bert. I appreciate you digging that up for me.

How to change rudder, aileron, and elevator trim
I'm aware that I can assign elevator trim functions to my yoke. What I'm asking is what controls in the virtual cockpit (and in the real aircraft) are used to adjust the three trim axis's? And is it possible to do so in the sim?

How to change rudder, aileron, and elevator trim
I see no answers so far. I think I'm missing something basic in the virtual cockpit. Can someone point me to the click spots where the different trims are adjusted?

How to change rudder, aileron, and elevator trim
Other than letting the autopilot do all the work, can someone tell me where the controls are to change the settings on rudder, aileron, and elevator trim? I see the gauge near the PCL that shows the current settings. Also, has anyone used the Saitek Trim Wheel to control elevator trim?
