Flight Director in the DA42

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have purchased and downloaded the alabeo DA42. It has a few bug but the one that is annoying me is the fact i dont have a flight director on the PFD. Not even CTR+F works!

Anyone able to help?

Thanks

If you're comfortable editing the aircraft.cfg file then you can add a Flight Director to the DA-42 which will toggle on/off with Ctrl + F.

There'a line in the 'aircraft.cfg' under: FSX/ Simobjects/ aircraft/ Alabeo DA-42 Twin Star.

Use notepad to open the aircraft.cfg and edit the following line...

[autopilot]

flight_director_available=0

Change the 0 to a 1 and you have a Flight Director.

If you're unfamiliar with editing these files, search about on here and there's plenty of walk throughs and How To's.
