Scenery Loading Improvement - Real Or Imagined (For Nvidia Card Users)

Featured Replies

I recently installed a small registry hack available for nvidia card users. The hack is Forceware Coolbits 2.0. I installed it to get The Elderscrolls: Oblivion to run smoother, but I think I'm noticing a slight improvement in the time it takes textures to load in FS9 - overall, sim seems to have gotten a bit smoother, but this may very well be my active imagination at work, together with wishful thinking. Has anyone else tried this? If you install it, go to to your video card's settings menu and set "render frames ahead" to "0".Link here. Lots of popups, sorry. http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=815(Mod: move to the hardware forum, if more appropriate there).ricardo
