Sound CFG Flags Question

Ive been editing the sound flag parameters for the "groundroll" in my LDS767 and noticed that the effects/edits that the sim is reading from the sound.cfg are only performed in the 2D cockpit. There seems to be zero effect changes in the VC cockpit (the sound is either full on or full off).Does anyone know of a way to get the VC to apply the changes ive made in the sound cfg...or is this a known FS limitation?Dave
