Good day All, I wonder if anyone knows if you press the PTT button to transmit should you be hearing your own voice as you would in a real aircraft?

I don't know if you are supposed to or not but I definitely don't hear my own voice in my headphones.  There is a brief bit of static sound then Vox is picking up what you are saying.  I can hear myself talk but not in my headphones.
