April 7, 200620 yr I seem to recall that someone had a 10E in the works and passed it on to someone else. It had the long range tanks and was configured as Earhart's historic 10E. I'm sorry that I lost track of this effort and was curious what was going on with it if anyone knew.I also think that I recall that the great team of Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, Andre Folkers who are responsible for the Beech 18 and Spartan are also retiring.Sadly, I thought the 10E, maybe Kelly Johnson's first Lockheed airplane, would have been a good subject for them to bless us with.
April 7, 200620 yr Methinks you're thinking of this very fine Electra: http://members.lycos.co.uk/Berlin_flightsim/I don't know anything of Shupe & Co. retireing. then again, I might be out of the loop. http://www.commerciallevel.com/base/suppor...46supporter.jpg
April 7, 200620 yr Milton's team is most certainly NOT retiring. They're continuing to work on their DHC-7 and (I think) updates of their earlier twin Commanders.
