April 9, 200620 yr I loaded FS 2004 today and after a short while of being VERY confused - I realized that almost ALL of my controls axes become reversed. ALMOSTT all - as in throttle, joystick and rudder pedals but NOT toe breaks. Those are still correct. Is there a setting some place in an INI file (or somewhere else) that could have accidentally triggered such an odd behavior?Thank you,Michael
April 10, 200620 yr Author That happened to me once. I found out that for some reason windows assigned a new controller number to my stick, and when I started FS9, it created a new entry with all deault values in my FS9.cfg (so now I had two joystick sections, the original one which FS9 was no longer using, and a new default one which it was). So I had to go into the assignments and reset things. I've since mapped all my buttons to keyboard commands, not DirectInput buttons so that part is solved, but the axis still are affected if this controller ID change happens. In FS2k2, the FS config file used names for the joysticks, but now there is only a cryptic GUID entry so it is difficult to determine in a multi-controller setup which is which.scott s..
