November 28, 20178 yr Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and I sincerely hope that I do not violate any rules or regulations. If I did, just let me know, move my post or do whatever is necessary. I have recently encountered an issue in my Jardesign A320 which I cannot seem to resolve and which apparently only relates to US airports: After I set up my flight plan (in this case KSAN to KSEA) and I check it in the nav display, I notice that the last part of the STAR is not aligned with the runway (as you can see in the screenshots below). The FMC seems to add two waypoints after the runway which I cannot find in my original flight plan. This seems to be the case with any other US airport. I never encountered the issue when flying around in Europe. I am happy about any feedback as I am eager to learn! Kind regards from Germany Sebastian Screen1 Screen2
November 28, 20178 yr Hello Sebastian Welcome to AVSIM, I hope you enjoy your time here on the site. We are generally a friendly bunch :) I would try simbrief.com which shows this plan KSAN/27 PADRZ1 EHF DCT SHIMR DCT LKV DCT BTG OLM2 KSEA/34C Does this work any better? https://www.simbrief.com/home/?page=home Jude BradleyBeech Baron: Uh, Tower, verify you want me to taxi in front of the 747?ATC: Yeah, it's OK. November 28, 20178 yr Author I have tried all sorts of flight planners, with the same results. It seems as if the last waypoint of the STAR is simply connected with the end of the runway. If I fly such a route the plane of course does not align with the runway (as you can see in the screenshots).
November 28, 20178 yr Is the issue only with this aircraft? Are you using up-to-date navdata information? November 28, 20178 yr Author It's the same issue with the Jardesign A330. My navdata is up-to-date (Cycle 1712).
