PMDG 777 P3DV4 Linda MCP COMBO

Recommended Posts

Hello. Has anyone ever been able to use PCP COMBO 1 or 2 to fly the PMDG 777 under P3DV4?
And if so with which module linda because the PMDG_777_v1_2 and the PMDG_777_v_1_3_2 gives me the opportunity to adjust com, nav but buttons heading, speed, alt, etc ... of the combo are inoperative.
I have version 3.0.3.724 of Linda and everything is ok with for example the PMDG 737NGX under P3DV4

Thanks to a reponse

Christian

Hi Christen

Thank you for your post. The current LINDA module for the PMDG777 in version 1.3 dated Dec 2016.

I have double checked that the MCP functions for SPD/HDG/HDG work. The functions PMDG_AP_SPD_inc/dec, PMDG_AP_HDG_inc/dec, etc are required. If you have a new installation, try deleting the config-mcpX.lua file (in P3Dv4\modules\linda-cfg\aircrafts\PMDG 777) and restarting the aircraft and LINDA. This will generate a new file from the config-mcpX.default file which contains the correct functions.

Hello,
I have the PMDG_777_v_1_3_2 . And in this version, I do not have a file "config-mcpX.lua".  after launching P3DV4 and launching Linda. I have as files in modules / linda / aircrafts / PMDG 777 the files actions, ident, neueres script, pmdg_777X_SDK_Nummern, user and in modules / linda-cfg / aircrafts / PMDG 777 the files config-hid, config-mcp, config- user and in the folder Backup I have the file config-mcp-1712041839.

To read you; Thank you

Sorry I may have confused you. The config-mcpX.lua X part refers to the version of VRi MCP Combo you use: original (X=blank), Boeing (X=2) and Airbus (X=2a). You need to turn on file extensions to see the .lua part

As you have the config-mcp.lua, the I suspect you have the original panel. There should also be .default files in the linda-cfg/aircrafts/PMDG 777 folder. If these are missing then LINDA will not have a default configuration to load.

Please open the MCP page and click of the middle MCP panel at the bottom. If the SPD/HDG/ALT entries do not have the prefix PMDG_ then you will need to assign them yourself. You need to click on each entry (eg SPD +/-) and call up the corresponding PMDG777 functions (eg PMDG_SPD_inc/_dec).

Hello. So I followed your advice and I created a specific module for the pmdg 777 for the combo1. It works very well. He is at the disposal of who wants. Thanks anyway for your advice.
