How to download UNAPPROVED airports from the gateway

Featured Replies

Hi all,

In the past, I have submitted numerous airports to the gateway for XP 10. One of those submissions is causing problems in XP 11. I used an admittedly odd hack to create 'docks' for a seaplane base (picnic tables over the water). At the time, and maybe even now, there were no floating objects. i.e. objects that would float on the water, whatever the level was. I had to hard code the elevation of the tables. Now they are floating in mid air.

So, I downloaded the latest WED and went to import the airport from the gateway so I could fix it and resubmit. I could not find the airport in the list of available airports to import (because I think they only show approved airports). I don't have the submission I made anymore. I can see the issue in XP 11, even though the airport has since been rejected on the gateway. How the heck do I pull in the airport to fix it? I don't really want to start from scratch again.

For reference, it is CTR7, Rockcliffe Seaplane Base near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Link to gateway airport: https://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/CTR7

I'm hoping I'm just missing something silly, like a download button somewhere that I can't for the life of me find :)

When the upload is accepted you can download it, when it is approved you can download it, it seems if its not approved there is no download option. Always a good idea to keep back up, files are pretty small few hundred K
