Sudden Memory Problem

Featured Replies

I know something like this has probably been posted, but I need some feedback. I've been flying FS9.1 trouble-free for at least a year when suddenly it seems to be running out of memory. I'll start a flight and after switching views textures become blurry, and then start not to load at all. I'll exit FS and restart the sim, and textures won't even load. This seems to be some kind of memory leak. Is it possible to "hit the wall" as far as add on's? Has anyone else experienced this? I've done the usual things, scan for virus, spyware, defrag, new card drivers, checked for bad landclass files, FSAutostart, on and on and on. I have another installation of FS9 on another drive with much fewer addons that is problem free. Any help appreciated. Thanks,ToddAMD 64 3000+Ati 9500 Pro 128mb1G 3200 DDRXP SP2

I would have thought the same thing about your CTD problem....I have looked. I'm out of ideas. Thanks anyway.

Ok, I just went through my scenery (again) and found a landclass file I missed. Looks like that fixed it. I'll email the author. Sorry for the post.Todd

would you mind sharing what scenery youve found problems with?

What program found the bad land class file?Paul.
