December 30, 20178 yr I have an odd problem. I think. Every now and then when I switch to another view the view automatically moves a little bit further than it should. It's a little, slow, smooth movement that only takes a second or so but it is obvious. When I press the button for the exact same view again I see it resets itself to where it should be but then it slowly moves away again. I can't get rid of this: it happens quite randomly. I do use TrackIR but I often have it paused and then this happens. Is this related to TrackIR maybe...? I also fly the Majestic Q400: maybe this also has something to do with it because the Q400 is not compatible with CP as far as movements are concerned. Talking about movements: I never touched one of those options but I see no movement AT ALL in the Q400. I thought you should see some movement anyway...? The views are all completely static. Well, apart from the odd movement I talked about above. It would be nice to get at least SOME movement in the Q400, like during take off and heavy turbulence. Is there any way to get at least at bit of movement in my views?
December 30, 20178 yr Commercial Member Hi, if you have one or many axis assigned in the Control Assignments, make sure to reassign them with a dead zone to prevent this kind of issue. For the motion effects in the Q400, go in Camera > Motion Effects and play around with the sliders. There are issues because of the flight dynamic but you should get some effects. December 31, 20178 yr My controllers already have a deadzone so that wasn't it. I finally managed to get rid of the movement by simply setting ALL movement sliders for all views to zero (dragging the sliders completely down). I will have to live without those motions effect then but rather that then slightly moving views. The little effects those sliders gave me at the default settings weren't really noticable anyway in my A400: they only 'screwed' up my preferred views.
