Aircraft ID defaults to Red but can be changed in the Traffic settings or in the traffic Toolbox settings in the SDK module. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
April 28, 200620 yr Hello Tom,Thanks for your reply. I must apologise for asking a daft question! In fact, the text I referred to has nothing whatever to do with ATC. It is the information that appears on the top of a monitor when you press 'Shift plus Z' whilst running Fs9 - I find that text is too large and the color obtrusive; It's that I'd like to change.Ken,Somerset, Englandps - I think I need to ease up on my Cider intake :)

As for size, what resolution you run at? A higher resolution will give you a smaller text size which may be less obtrusive to you. This is what I see at 1280x1024x32. The font used is most likely one in the fonts folder in the FS9 folder. If you or someone can identify the font used, you may be able to replace it with a smaller set. It looks like it uses true type fonts.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/148051.jpg Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
April 28, 200620 yr Hello Tom,Yes, I'm using the same Resolution as yourself, with a 19" TFT Monitor. I've tried the FS2004 Website but cannot find an answer; also tried the Fs9 Fonts folder - but no deal. I'll email Fs9 Support and see if that helps; but I guess the easy way is to stop using the feature, just 'dip in and out' as required. Thank very much for trying to help.Incidently, is that aircraft the PMDG B737? I'm a member of BAV and use the PMDG B737-800, a fantastic aircraft.KenSomerset, England
