Phoenix Metro Area Scenery (payware)

Featured Replies

I purchased Simulating Art's ( http://www.simulatingart.com ) Phoenix Metropolitan Area Scenery a few nights ago after liking what I saw in the screenshots. After having purchased it through Flight1 for $20, I was dismayed to find that the Bank One Ballpark/Chase Field's physical orientation had been rotated 180 degrees from it's proper place.I contacted the developer and was told that no changes had been made, and that it was in the same position that Microsoft had placed it. Obviously, this is false. An oversight such as this is frankly inexcusable in a payware product, and I simply cannot recommend this add-on until this glaring error is fixed. Kind of makes me wonder what other inaccuracies are left to be found in it...

Flight 1 has a return policy and you can get your money back. Go to their support page and look for the e-mail area for refunds.I bought this when it was fairly new, but the contrast with the textures outside the scenery was too much for me. I also thought the colors were very strange. This is the desert, but we have tons of trees and the mountains aren't bleak tanish-grey.You can see a much darker shade of colors this city has in it in real pics. The mountains are a grey color, but very close to a true grey with shades of brown and green in them: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0939632/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0931090/M/http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0445808/M/

I was not aware of their refund policy. I have since requested one. Thanks for the heads-up on that.
