May 4, 200620 yr To avoid having an ugly sudden change from limited visibility to unlimited as soon as you pass a certain altitude, I set the top limit for limited visibilty in FS9.1 advanced weather settings at 50000', above which I am never likely to fly. This gets rid of the problem of the sudden change to perfect visibilty and I get a reasonably good visibility gradation as I fly higher. It also means that, as there is no setting between 50 miles visibility and unlimited in FS9, by the time I am above 20000' I can't see too much of the ground any more. Bit of a waste of money my having installed FScene, FSGenesis mesh and all the other worthies!!It seems as if registering my FSUIPC v3.6 might help, but reading the pdf FSUIPC manual, I am no wiser as to how exactly. I have screenshots of the options/visibility page, but for the life of me cannot see what I would have to do in order to (in effect) set visibily (i.e. haze) at less than the crystal clear 'unlimited' option, but higher than the next notch down (50ms/80kms) available to me at the moment. If anyone reading this knows that this is possible using the registered FSUIPC, I'd be very grateful for a bit of a walk-through!Many thanks,Martin Martin Stebbing, EGLF (UK)
