May 7, 200620 yr i was flying online with Vatsim everything was going great all the sudden the aircraft became blurry with no colors and a message came up saying FS9 is going to shut down. this is the second time it happened to me. i know this probably has nothing to do with the addon i was using for this flight the LDS767, but if anybody knows what did cause this error to let me know what i can do. thanks. May 7, 200620 yr Author i don't believe so, i don't get any messages during or prior making mention of a memory leak. this is a bran new PC running at 3.0 HT P4, 1000 RAM, 256 Graphic card. what can be done if it is really a memory leak. Best Regards Adib Afraj Best Regards Adib Afraj

May 8, 200620 yr Perhaps you can go to the Administrative Tools-Event Viewerand tell us what messages it gives you for that time and datewhen your FS9 failed. That would help. Without any sort ofinfo it would be difficult to guess.
May 8, 200620 yr Author i pulled up the event viewer but i don't see the error. i am not familiar with this option how can i find that actual error under this log.Best Regards Adib Afraj Best Regards Adib Afraj
May 8, 200620 yr In event viewer select applications then have a look for a red icon with a cross on it. You'll see next to ita date and a time. Look for any that coincides with the date and time when crash occured. Double click on the entry andthere you should have a brief explanation of what caused thecrash. Also worth checking:Duplicate scenery entries in your scenery.cfgCheck also that all your scenery entries follow strict numericalsequence with no gaps.Duplicate AFCAD files - use freeware program ScanAFD (available here at AVSIM)Let us know how you get on.
