May 9, 200620 yr Just installed USA Airport 1 with the Miami, Tampa, San Diego and San Francisco Fly Tampa airports. Everything looks fine except for these white dashed lines in the water by KSFO. Looks like block boundaries of the Fly Tampa scenery. How do I get rid of these?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/148929.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/148930.jpg
May 12, 200620 yr No reply from anyone after a few days. Here's another screen shot showing the white lines. They disappear when I remove the base.bgl file from the aerosoftU.S.AirportsSanFranciscoScenery folder, but then half the Fly Tampa airport scenery is also gone. Anyone seen something similar and found a solution for it?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/149051.jpg
May 12, 200620 yr HelloBest bet would be to post your problem and the screenshots in Flytampas support forum.Craig
May 13, 200620 yr Just a guess but it looks like the joins between the photoreal images they lay down as the backdrop to the airport. Hard to tell at this distance. It's quite difficult to map these images without getting a bit of that effect where the images join. I can vouch for that. :D Sometimes you get this with mip-mapping but I don't think those guys mip-map their ground textures as you don't see the blurry effect that extends in front of your plane which you do when images are mipped.Like I said, just a guess.Adam
