What happened to the Orbx Grand Canyon scenery?

Featured Replies

I am installing Orbx scenery for my new P3Dv4 installation and noticed that the airports that used to be under Global have been moved to their respective Regions.  I found all the ones for North America except for Grand Canyon (KGCN).  Does anyone know what happened to it?

Since I have it installed in Steam can I just copy it from Steam to P3Dv4 and add it to the scenery library or is there more to it than that?

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Sorry.  My bad!  I didn't realize KGCN was simply an Orbx addon airport instead of a scenery area.  When I went there I realized my mistake.

What I know about flight simulators would half fill a thimble.  What I don't know would fill a 50 gallon drum to the rim.  That's why I have this habit of asking stupid question.  I apologize.

The Canyon airport is one of the freebie Orbx world wide airports.  I tried the OZx Grand Canyon but didn't care much for it.  My Pilots Mesh does a better job I think.  I installed the OZx Death Valley just a while ago but quickly uninstalled it after having a look.  Too many trees.  There are trees in the gold course at Furnace Creek but not up and down the valley.
