May 11, 200620 yr Route Finder can give very strange routings. I always test these applications with EGKK to EGPH. The UK standard route is:LAM (SID) L10 BPK (U)N601 MARGO TWEED1A (STAR)which is about 350nm.Route Finder gave me:EGKK (0.0nm) -SID-> SFD (26.1nm) -A47-> WOD25 (57.3nm) -A47-> WOD (82.2nm) -A47-> BENSU (89.9nm) -A47-> SILVA (106.4nm) -A47-> FINMA (115.5nm) -A47-> DTY (126.8nm) -A47-> LIC (167.3nm) -A47-> LIC19 (186.8nm) -A47-> POL35 (194.1nm) -A47-> POL11 (217.3nm) -A47-> POL (228.8nm) -W2D-> FIWUD (263.8nm) -W2D-> MORBY (278.8nm) -W2D-> VANIN (298.8nm) -W2D-> IOM (324.9nm) -W928D-> MIKEL (337.8nm) -W928D-> BLACA (375.8nm) -STAR-> EGPH (464.3nm) which is about 100nm longer. This a because of using the wrong SID, note the near reversal of the track at SFD, and the routing via IOM which is way off track. Also Route Finder goes west of London when the standard route is east. Gerry Howard
