Unexpected framerate loss FS9

Featured Replies

Hi!All of a sudden I lost some framerates in my FS9.I checked everything and my system seems OK.I use an ATI Radeon X800 video card. Can anyone help??If so, I'd be grateful (of course...)Thanks.Hans HermanssonSweden

the info you gave is not very descriptive to offer help. How were your frames before compared to now? When/where do you loose frames? what have you checked exactly?

Yes, give us some specifics and maybe we can help. Is it at a particular airport, or a certain plane? Give some details like that to start with. Then we can look at the old suspects like landclass problems or programs running in the background or faulty add on sceneries.Lee

Hi!and thanks for your concern.I reinstalled all of my gear today to see if my FS9 performancewould improve and it remains about the same.Specifically US airports tend to give a framerate hit (more thanI had before)E.g. I used to get 25-30 fps at default KLAX with lots of AI-traffic, or KORD, with the same results. Now about 15-18 fps.I reinstalled my Japanese Overland airports, which I know areexcellent, and get very good performance there. So, it seems that my US airports don't work so well and I have really no idea why.Grateful for any tips.......Thanks again.Hans/Sweden
