January 29, 20188 yr Wbentel, you would probably find a fuller explanation useful. If you are using an ORBX area, e.g., Pacific Northwest, Northern California, England, etc., then you won't need Ultimate Terrain. ORBX areas combine land class and vector information, just as Ultimate Terrain does. In regions where you only have FTX Global base, then UTX should work with it. If you are using ORBX Open LC, then UTX would be partially redundant. if you are using ORBX Vector in combination with LC, then it would be completely redundant, at least according to my understanding.
