Strange happening:Just made a flight in the PSS-777-200LRF FedEx Freighter from KEWR to KPHX. Everything went flawlessly until I started my approach into Phoenix Sky Harper. It wasn't there!!!!I do have SimFlyers for this location. First thought was that I had just failed to install it in my last round of upgrades or revisions, but it was included in the SimFlyers folder under FS2004 along with all of the others so this confirms that I had installed it. I am pretty sure that I checked it too at that time due to the fact that I check all of them due to previous AFCAD ILS provisions that sometimes have been a bit odd for SimFlyers. However, the SimFlyers KPHX scenery was not included in my Scenery.cfg file and there was a scenery number skipped. I also was able to see my Eaglesoft hanger sitting in a field. This also would not answer why the FS9 default airport scenery would not have been visible.Reinstalled the airport and everything works fine. Thanks to AutoSave was able to go back to an approach point and complete the flight with no problem.While I am at it I am going to give a left handed plug for SimFlyers who seem to get a lot of flak these days. I have just about all of their scenery, most of which are of the first generation even for them. I concede that particularly for the purest they may be a bit outdated, but I personally still use and like them. (Admittedly there were growing pains). Frame rates come and go dependent upon how complex the plane and weather is, but all are useable for me. Personally, I think KPHX is outstanding. After coming to a stop after landing, my spot was next to a Gemeni Air 727-200 freighter being loaded with a conveyer and lift which included full animation. I think this is pretty neat and I am not an eye candy freak (seldom even use VC's). My frame rates with all scenery sliders at max (Shadows disabled)fsmeteo weather and AISmooth was 19 and movement was smooth. (I have mine locked at 20).Anybody ever lost an airport like this and figured out why?Happy flying:RTH1585368CFI

sounds like making of good Steven King novel....on a flight from KEWR, KPHX vanishes with only a hanger sitting in field...an old man in overalls sits rocking in chair...and yet, something odd about him..and what is with those crop circles anyway?

I could never taxi at Simflyer's KPHX without dirt coming out from behind my tires. Didn't matter where I was on the airport, taxiways, parking ramp, runways, did it everywhere!! FSPassengers always penalized me for landing off the runway, even if I touched down on the centerline. I tried flattens and everything suggested to me, and nothing worked. So I must say i was pretty pleased the day the airport monster decided to eat this airport off my pc! >Langoliers?Dang, that totally ruins the picture of Langoliers I had from reading the book!
