Aerobask Eclipse GTN Data Loading

Featured Replies

Trying to figure out how to load my Navigraph data into the GTN 750.  It has loaded into the other Xplane default aircraft ok but not into the Eclipse.  It doesn/t list any waypoints, nearest airports, etc.  Could use some guidance here.  I'm using Xplane 11 by the way.  Thanks for any help.

Jim

The Eclipse doesn't read X-Plane 11 navdata (yet). You need to put the X-Plane 10 GNS 430 navdata in your Custom Data folder in X-Plane 11.

If you use the Navigraph Data Manager you can just add a custom addon mapping, choose "X-Plane GNS430, 777 Worldliner (Ext/Prof), Flightfactor B757..." as the dataset and your X-Plane 11 folder as the target.

You should end up with a GNS430 folder inside the "Custom Data" directory of your XP11 installation.

Thanks for your reply.  I don 't have Xplane 10 so that is a problem.  When you say add a custom addon mapping and choose Xplane GNS430,777 Worldliner etc. could you clarify that?  I don't have these planes.

Jim

You don't need XP10, only the XP10 navadata from Navigraph. When you said "how to load my Navigraph data" I was under the impression that you had a Navigraph subscription?

You can also download the last default data for X-Plane 10.51 by installing the XP10 demo.

OK, So I guess my first step is to download the X-plane 10 demo and go from there.  Yeah, I do have a subscription to Navigraph and as I said, the data is in my other planes and they work fine.  Seems strange to me that the developer of the Eclipse requires having XP 10 or have to dl the demo.  Thanks again.

Jim

If you have a Navigraph subscription, you should definitely download the data from them (or use the manager), not the demo. That way you will also have the latest data.

The required dataset is called "X-Plane GNS430, 777 Worldliner (Ext/Prof), Flightfactor B757 Professional, VMAX B767-300ER Professional, X-Crafts Embraer E-175, Aerobask Aircrafts, JRollon Planes CRJ200 - native**"

Hi,

Hate to be the village word not allowed here.  I understand what you are saying about getting the required dataset but am having difficulty in locating it.  When I select Addon Mappings and scan, there is no listing appearing where I can access the datasets.  On the Navigraph website it shows the drop down listing of datasets but not in my Navigraph Data Manager.

Hi Again,

Never mind.  I finally figured it out.  Thanks for all your help.
