By guages have black over them can anyone hellp

I can see that the guages are there but they are covered with black cut outs.

What aircraft?  3rd party, default, payware, freeware?  If the download had a "gauges" folder, did you open the folder and copy all of the gauges,.cab files, etc into your Main FSX Gauges folder or, at least, into your panel folder of that aircraft?

Sorry, didn't notice the Quad City Challenger tag.  I found an FSX freeware download and tried it.  Plenty of gauge files to be put in like I described.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
