May 26, 200620 yr I'm just starting to fly the Tupolev TU-114 by Sandim even though I've had it downloaded for a long time. The problem I see with the panel is regarding the location of one of the tool tip pop-ups that make it unreadable and therefore practically usless. Also I placed this question in the panel forum as well. But I know that many knowedgable simmers visit this forum too. So here's hoping the best from both worlds, unless the powers at be deem this question inappropiate for this forum. When placing the cursor on the vertical speed dial in the pilot's panel, the portion that shows the rate of climb or descent is off the screen (See screen shot). Is there a way to relocate the flag so as to read the entire pop-up?I know nothing of programing a computer, so if this requires a severe programing method, I would be lost, unless there was a kind soul that could do it and provide the 'fix'. Another inconvienence, although not major maybe, is, since I fly in the VC mode using Tracker4, having to switch back to the 2D panel to access the navigation panel by means of a 'hot spot' on the pilot's panel. I have the engineer's panel and the radio stack programmed to buttons on the throttle quad, so that isn't a problem. But there is no way to do the same for the nav panel, unless someone has figured that one out too.I hope that at least the first problem can be easily fixed since I love flying this plane. Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions.
May 27, 200620 yr To answer the question about tool tips... not that I know of. Even the OS does not handle them correctly, never mind the sim. Hit to bring it out of full screen and you should now see the whole tip.Depending on the window assignment number, the nav panel should be openable with a . That key combo should be programmable. If none of the numbers open the panel, then post the "Windows" section from the aircrafts panel.cfg and I may be able to tell you why.Cheersshad
